Islamabad ATC Grants 4-Day Extension in Ex-Senator Mushtaq Ahmad’s Physical Custody

A local anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has extended the physical remand of former senator Mushtaq Ahmad by four more days. nnThe extension was granted during a hearing presided over by the judge of the Islamabad ATC. The prosecution had earlier requested a 30-day physical remand, stating that investigators were still searching for a vehicle and weapons linked to the case. nnThe court, however, opted for a shorter extension, allowing authorities to continue their interrogation of the former lawmaker.
