Government Slashes Petrol Price by Rs4.08, Diesel by Rs2.45 Effective August 4

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Tuesday announced a reduction in fuel prices, bringing some relief to consumers amid ongoing economic pressures.nnAccording to the latest notification, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs4.08 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) has been lowered by Rs2.45 per litre. The revised rates take effect from August 4.nnFollowing the adjustment, petrol will now be sold at Rs331.95 per litre, whereas HSD will cost Rs389.93 per litre.
